Post jam development


Hey! Not sure if anyone is reading this but I want to talk a bit about this project. It started during the GMTK game jam and I had quite some fun with it so I thought I could continue it a bit. I will introduce some cool features and more level. I will think about stopping once I reach 50 levels but hey maybe I’ll go beyond. I also want to polish the UI and if possible make the game compatible with WebGL on mobile (touch screen, mobile UI, etc…)

What I already did since the jam

  • Added 10 levels
  • Improved the ambiant background. It’s now a sea with waves instead of a boring black square.
  • Can now turn on full screen using Unity default HTML template
  • A small text with the level number when loading
  • Fix level 1 not accessible when returning to main screen and save progression between sessions

Next thing scheduled

I want to introduce the feature of 2 moving characters (separated blob) at the beginning of the level. I think it will be challenging, especially coupled with the bomb mechanic.
